Man alleges harassment, denied job appointment after father’s death in Jammu

Jammu:
A man in Jammu has alleged that he was not appointed to the govt job in the JKSTRC (J&K State Transport Road Corporation) department where his father worked, after his father’s death in the year 1999. However, the man has claimed that in his place another man has got job due to the corruption within the said department.

“My father died on 30-1-1999 and I was supposed to be appointed in his place according to SRO-43.

“The boys who came after me in the department they got the job for instance a man namely Rajiv Sadhotra s/o Late George Masih got his job appointment letter on 29-04-2002, he should not be given this job as he has no right over it.

“When I visited the Managing Director of the department he told me no one got any job but I have evidence how this man got the job.

“It has been 24 years since I have been visiting the department regarding my matter but I didn’t got justice. I even appealed to anti-corruption bureau.

“My kids are suffering. I am very disturbed.  How this man can get job as I’m a senior. I have also given a letter to LG sir”, alleged, Mr Anil Kumar.
