Jammu locals allege non-local officer fired them from job

Jammu:
Three local men in Jammu on Thursday has alleged that they have been fired from their jobs by a non-local security officer, who were working as security guards in a private company in Jammu.

According to the report, the incident occurred when a Security officer of a private security company in which the three men were working sacked them without any warning notice before hand.

Speaking to the media, one of the security guard, said,  “Yesterday, some  of our team members came with a Security officer (SO) who told us to not come to work from tomorrow onwards.


“They didn’t said me anything but kept another SO with me then later they told me to report in the branch office tomorrow at 4pm when we went there the SO misbehaved with us,

“There is a woman employee in our office he also misbehaves with her. The security officer’s name is Ashish Prakash he is a non-local person and he has terminated me for the job”.

“I was working as a security guard from past three hours and they fired me from the job. How I will run my household now”, added, Mr Subash Chander, another security guard.

“They didn’t inform us before hand nor they gave us any warning letter and apprised that our resignation letter will only be accepted when we will come in the office.

“When we went to our office the security officer told us to get out”, said, Mr Sunil Singh, a resident of Samba.
