“Since her infancy she has lived with her maternal grandmother and later she got her married in Talab Tillo. But she used to visit us and used to apprise us that she has faced domestic violence at her in-laws home.

“But it’s been five months since we had no communication with our daughter. Lastly, when I saw JK media’s report of the recovered body I went to her in-laws house.

“My daughter’s in-laws told me that my daughter has passed away then I went to police station they informed me that my complain can’t be registered here and suggested me to go Gadigarh police station of Satwari”, said, Mr Santosh Singh, Father of the victim girl.

“Our daughter’s mother and sister in law used to thrash her and they don’t even used to let her visit her maternal house.

“We just want our daughter back and nothing else”, added, Mother of the deceased girl.

“They have killed my daughter there at Gadigarh knowingly that we can’t register police complaint there.

“We had some function at our village in Chatta and our daughter told her grandmother that she want to go there.

“But when she went there her mother-in-law chased her on scooty and brought her back coercively and thrashed both of them.

“Then we saw your report on the same day she was beaten by her in-laws”, a relative of the deceased said.

“Her mother-in-law didn’t used to let us meet her & used to apprise our daughter that she will not allow us in her house”, Mother of the victim girl remarked.

“We came to know about our daughter through JK Media’s report”, said, Victim’s father.

“We just want justice for our daughter”, he added.

“They mockingly said that she died but I told them I have raised my daughter with hardships just like you did”, Mother of the deceased girl said, weeping.

“We appeal to SHO Gadigarh to jail the culprits and deliver us justice”, Girl’s father demanded.
