Mega Success: Jammu police seizes 6,727 kg drugs

Jammu: In a mega success, under the pan India drugs destruction campaign the J&K police along NCB and ANTF with on Monday destroyed 6,727kg drugs recovered from various drug smugglers in Jammu in last few months.
According to the report, the Samba police along with Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and Anti-narcotics Task Force (ANTF) destroyed a huge quantity of Narcotics which include Heroin, Charas, Ganja, Opium, Capsules, Corex, Poppy Straw, Brown Sugar in a Bio mass unit in Samba in the presence of Home Minster Amit Shah, who oversaw the destruction of the drugs through a video conference.

AGDP Jammu Mukesh Singh, DIG Shakti Pathak and SSP Benam Tosh were also present at the occasion along with NCB director officials and ANTF personnel.
The J&K police has given a befitting reply to Narco terrorism being run by neighbouring country Pakistan to encourage youths to join terrorist ranks. The concerned agencies are vigilant in J&K to foil the attempts of Naroc terror here, the report said.
