Locals in Jammu vexed after outsiders appointed on their jobs

Jammu: Three locals in Jammu who were employed at GMC Jammu has claimed that they have been removed from their respective work at the Bakshi Nagar health facility and asserted in their place Rohingyas have been appointed on bribe.

According to the report, the matter came to light when three sanitation workers working in GMC Jammu fired from their job and in their place three Rohingya men were appointed.

“We were working there and we used to take 1-2 day off. They took 30-40K from Rohingyas and appointed them.

“They don’t even have documents but we have. We told GMC admins to check their orders. The authorities can surveil us doing our work time.

“If they find being negligent in our duty they can take action then. There are hundreds of people who can speak for us as witnesses.

“The burglaries can take place in people’s residence in the coming time because we take locals permissions even before picking up a small thing.

“We are 3-4 people who have been fired from our jobs”, one of the man said.

“They took 40K from me and he has said that he has appointment order. My attendance is going waste. He demanded 60,000 from me and I gave him 40,000.

“I have talked to Mayor and Doctor sir. He has said we can approach to anyone we like and no one can harm him.

“I’m working in GMC. He is my husband. The hospital authorities is demanding money from them, from where we should give them” One of the victim’s wife said.

“We live on rent. They have appointed three Rohingya men here”, one of the victim said.

“My attendance is full. He is saying to go whom we want and he has President Rinku’s support and he is doing all this.

“And he is supporting them. The president is saying that he will give me appointment order but what about my attendance of which I’m getting feed backs on mobile.

“I’m very worried sir”, another Sanitation worker who has been fired from job said.
