College in J&K to cancel admission of absent students

Jammu: In a rare case, a college in Kashmir’s Bandipora district has warned its students and has told them to ensure maximum attendance to be able to sit in the exams, yesterday.

As per report, the principal of  Hassan Khoyihami Memorial (HKM) Government Degree College Patushay, Bandipora namely Prof Masood Ahmad Malik issued an order through which he has told the students of the college to ensure 75 percent attendance in every subject to be eligible to appear in yearly exams.

However, the order has also stated that if a student found absent from college for a period of twenty days then their admission will be cancelled.
