Rain havoc in Jammu, exposes claims of smart city

Jammu:  Torrential continuous rains since morning has left Jammu smart city’s claim struggling on Tuesday as inundation and waterlogging threw life out of gear, leading to a public outpour of anger against authorities.

The rains severely impacted SMGS (Sri Maharaja Gulab Singh) Hospital and ward no.61 of Jammu left them water-logged and overflowing with rain water.

The junk was seen floating on the roads with rain water clogging the drains while affecting the movement of vehicular traffic and causing inconvenience to the Jammuities.

The attenders of patients of SMGS hospital were seen standing in queues and suffering due to waterlogging.
