Woman killed in accident in J&K

A woman got killed in a drowning accident in a drain in Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
As per sources, the incident took place when the victim namely Sakeena Begum wife of Altaf Khan of thirty five years of age was washing utensils on the banks of Roushi Nallah then suddenly she slipped and fell in the drain at Chewakhurd village of Pulwama district and drowned to death.

However, the villagers have accused illegal mining in the water body due to which the depth of water has increased, which causes such incident.

The victim has also been identified belonging to Nomadic community.
