Jammu: The Deputy Commissioner Ramban  issued an advisory in which he has said that  face recognition app to register attendance will also be used for govt teachers in Ramban.

As per report, the DC Ramban through a tweet apprised that the face recognition apps will also be used now in govt schools in Ramban to mark attendance of teachers along with Punching attendance system.

The DC Ramban has made this new type of online attendance mandatory for the teachers, earlier the J&K UT administration launched Punching Attendance system for the govt employees.

Several govt employees have been suspended by the local authorities in J&K when they were noticed absent from their duties, following which the J&K govt introduced this online form of attendance system.
