Jammu: Officer Suspended from duty

The authorities on Sunday suspended a medical officer posted at Primary Health Centre (PHC) Panchari, Udhampur of Jammu division for remaining absent from duty.
According to an order issued by Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, the Community Health Officer namely B.S Khajuria posted at PHC Panchari were found absent from his duty, during a surprise visit by deputy commissioner Udhampur yesterday.

The order stated the Deputy Commissioner Udhampur paid a surprise vist at PHC
Panchari yesterday alongwith Chief Panning Officer, Udhampur and other
district offcers to ascertain the functioning of health institutions at Panchari and on enquiring about the concerned suspended officer the DC found him marked as on tour in the attendance register and when he was called he replied him that he is Udhampur town.
Following which he was suspended from his duty for displaying negligent conduct being a govt officer.
