Specially-abled man gets death threat in Jammu

Jammu:
An E-rickshaw driver has claimed that he is getting death threats from auto-richshaw drivers in Jammu, who aren’t letting him drive the vehicle.

“When I bought an e-rickshaw they begin to stop  passengers from boarding it. I apprised the transport agent and also approached people.

“Some came in my support and told them let him drive as there are many already plying,  but the rickshaw operators are still blocking my way.

“I also complained to RTO sir he asked me about license but when I showed him, he said to apply for a permanent one.

“The auto-rickshaws have all the bookings of school and I used to go only when I’m called, but still they fight with me.

“I’m a poor man. Nobody is ready to help me for my issue. There are also handicaps who are operating richshaws.

“The four wheeled rickshaw drivers are stopping me to drive by saying that others will also drive seeing me.

“I appeal LG sir to help me, he should do something for us”, said, Mr Ravi Kumar, the E-Rickshaw driver.
