J&K: Two arrested for abducting, raping girl

Two youths were arrested for allegedly abducting and raping a minor girl yesterday evening in Maisuma area of Srinagar.

As per report, the Srinagar police launched a joint operation and held the two accused boys for abducting and raping a 13-year-old girl.

The arrested youths have been identified as Sahil Javed and Sahil Yousaf, residents of Habba Kadal of Srinagar.

The accused boys had been apprehended under relevant sections of the POCSO act of the IPC, while a probe is on, the report said.
