Thieves looted Widow woman’s house in Jammu

Jammu: Thieves targeted a locked house in Shant Nagar near Amba theatre area of Jammu yesterday and decamped with costly gold and silver jewellery. The house belonged to widow woman who went to her sister’s house in Kalakote (Rajouri) and on returning found the house ransacked.
Talking to the media, the victim woman, said, “I went to my sister’s house and got a call from Jammu that my house has been looted”.

“I came back at 6am and saw everything broken then in the night police came and saw everything.

“I just want the police nabbed those burglars as they have stolen my 2.5 lakh which I kept for my operation, my jewellery should also be recovered.
“My son is under age and he is not ready for work, I have lost all the cash. I appeal police to recover my money as my husband is expired.
“I don’t even have ration in my house, if people want to help me they should”. she said sobbing.
