“After that we began our probe and got some clues based on our investigations on which we proceeded further.

“During this duration we picked some suspects for interrogation in this connection we have two individuals from Anantnag namely Sehran Bashir Nadaf, Ubaid Nazir Laigroo, who went missing.

“Our probe was hinting towards them and we launched an intensive search against them as we got more clues, we were able to nab the accused.

“We busted the conspiracy of this terrorist chain like who supplied weapons and recce the place and how this whole incident was carried out.

“The attack was based on proper planning on the directions of Pak-based Handler namely Kamran Ahmed  or its another offshoot based in Kashmir Kashmir Freedom Fighters.

“This whole terror attack conspiracy has been unpacked while we have recovered AK-47 rifle, 1 magazine and 40 rounds, pistols and 2 magazines, seven rounds and seven empty cartridges, three hand grenades, seven mobile phones and a scooty.

“Our leads in this matter are still going on. It was a big challenge for us. There is modus operandi of terrorists to kill minorities here they receive directions and murder people.

“From one and half a year we saw many incidents like this where people either on basis of community or residence were targeted.

“In this case, the victim was very destitute who came from poor family to work in Kashmir, it was a special case for us and due to police unity, we’re able to solve it.

“It was a terrorist group which was working for sometime there are more regulations in this case.

“This is a classic instance of a hybrid terrorist group like a young person has been used by handlers to carry out this dastardly attack.

“These terrorists were motivated, brain-washed enough to carry out this attack. We’re trying our best to control the parameters of these terrorists.

“We work on these parameters like busting module of terrorists and we have a major success”, the DGP South Kashmir said.
