Refugees expressed anger over pending compensation in Jammu

Jammu: Several members of West Pakistan Refugees Action Committee on Friday in Kathua staged a protest and expressed anger demanding the release of pending compensation which is not paid after its first installment.
One of the speaker of the West Pakistan Refugees Action Committee, said, “the issue which is constantly being raised by our people is that the Patwaris are not working properly”.

“When our people go to them in their offices they display neglect and the work regarding our matter is being done at a very slow pace”, he lamented.

“That’s why we’re agitating. Our people is also at fault as they don’t have all the documents ready that’s why the process is slow”, he added.
“We appeal govt to release the pending compensation of West Pak refugees otherwise there will be massive protests”, he warned.
