J-K: Police arrest thieves, recover stolen items
Police yesterday arrested two thieves from a home in Iqbal colony, Batmaloo area of Srinagar and recovered stolen items from them.
As per report, the Srinagar police arrested a local and non-local thief in a burglary case, when they were trying to escape after committing the theft in a house in Iqbal colony, Batmaloo.

In this connection, two accused persons namely Mohd Hussain Sheikh s/o Mohd Siraj Sheikh r/o West Bengal and Bashir Ahmed Sheikh s/o Gh Nabi Sheikh r/o Noorbagh have been arrested in the case and from their possession traditional silver and copper utensils worth of lakhs have been recovered.
