Hard-core criminal arrested in Jammu

Jammu: In a major breakthrough, the Jammu police have succeeded in arresting a hard-core criminal wanted in many heinous crimes in Jammu on Saturday.
According to the report, the Samba police headed by SHO Ramgarh Sudesh Kumar, SI Vikrant Sharma and under overall supervision of Addl SP Samba Surinder Chaudhary arrested the hard core criminal.

Police said there are many criminal cases pending against Ranju Chaudhary alias Ranju s/o Late Kuldeep Singh r/o kathar kothe area of Arnia. He was involved in criminal activities like attempt to murder, extortion and peddling.

Police has also apprised that Ranju is the main accused in a recent stabbing case of a shopkeeper in Ramgarh with other criminals.
He was wanted under NDPS act at Ramgarh police station, while he was also wanted under Arms act in Arnia and Ramgarh police station.
