Youth found dead mysteriously in Jammu, Family claims murder

Jammu: A youth was mysteriously found dead in a hotel room in Jammu’s Hari market area last night. The youngster from Rajouri had checked into the hotel last night with a friend from Ramban’s Batote area, who is absconding after the incident took place.
According to the report, the incident unfolded when the family members of the deceased came to meet their son, who was not responding to their repeated calls and found him dead in a Hari market hotel room.

“He was supposed to come here, after 2pm we had no contact with him. The hotel staff is saying that he checked into the hotel at 2:30pm”, one of the relatives of the deceased told media.

“His phone was ringing we searched all the hotels here, they only allowed us in when police came with us”, he alleged.
“Police came and inquired the hotel staff but they’re changing their statements”, he asserted.
“One of their worker said that a man is lying up in one of the hotel rooms when we went to the room he was dead and his phone was buzzing”, he said.
“Don’t know what the hostel management has given him, he was carrying a purse but in police probe no purse is found”, he apprised.
“Yes, the hotel’s room booking is in his name. The police has checked him but they didn’t recovered anything from him”, he added.
“Their CCTV cameras aren’t working it’s a conspiracy and his accomplice is on the run”, he accused.
“An ID has been recovered from the hotel room and that boy is from Batote and his name is Adil we have suspicion on him”, he responded to a media-person’s query.
“His door was opened at least the hotel staff should have informed us he has wounds on his body and we were continuously calling him”, he allegedly said.
“He was in Chandigarh and came in this hotel at 2:30pm we don’t how he arrived here”, he said.
“The boy from Batote and the hotel manager has killed my son there are marks on his body, they took money and murdered him”, The Deceased’s father alleged.
A case of murder has been registered and the matter is being probed, the report said.
