‘RRR’ Super star arrives in J&K
J&K: Pan-India superstar and SS Rajamouli’s film RRR celeb Ram Charan (38) today ahs arrived in Srinagar to attend the first side event on ” Film Tourism for Economic Growth and Cultural Preservation” of the 3rd G20 TWG Tourism Working Group Meeting.
Spain, Singapore, Mauritius, Nigeria, South Africa, Brazil and India are among seven countries to discuss the global perspective of film tourism, as well as, its economic benefits and impact in J-K. The side event on ‘Film Tourism for Economic Growth and Cultural Preservation’ is part of the mega third Tourism Working Group Meeting to be organized at Srinagar between May 22-24. Unveiling the draft of a national strategy for film tourism is the key agenda, and the speakers will highlight various challenges and country-specific enablers to promote destinations through films giving a fillip to tourism in J-K, a local news agency reported earlier.

Argentina ,Australia ,Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Indonesia, India, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, UK, USA ,EU have participated in the meeting while China, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and are absent.
RRR, SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus film RRR, is currently the fourth highest-grossing film in the history of Indian cinema. Starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles, the film has won several international awards, including the OScar for Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu.
Ram Charan is a popular Indian actor who has appeared in Telugu and Hindi films. Chirutha was Ram Charan’s debut film, which was directed by Puri Jagannadh and also starred Neha Sharma. It held the record of being the highest-grossing Telugu film for a debut actor until 2021.
