Jammu: Dozens injured in Road accident

Jammu: In an astonishing incident, dozens passengers sustained wounds when a vehicle in which they were travelling skidded off the road in Ramban area of Jammu on Saturday.
As per sources, the mishap occurred when a Matador (JK02A8018) on the way from Batote to Ramban met with an accident at Dhalwas on Jammu-Srinagar National highway, resulting in wounds to 18 passengers.

After the mishap all the passengers were brought to District Hospital Ramban for treatment, where they all are under observation.
“We got information that an accident has happened and then 18 patients came to us. None of them has suffered critical injuries they are under care”, Medical superintendent of District Hospital Ramban Dr Varinder Trisal said.
“There are 18 patients and they are under observation, the accident was a minor one. We have done the CT scans of many patients”, he added.
“If we find internal injuries or bleeding we will know it as we have kept them under observation, if required we will also refer the patients”, he said.
