                 Young Girl injured in fire incident in Jammu
Jammu: A -young girl sustained burn injuries when she was trapped in her house in Pangwal village of Samlah panchyat in Samba district that caught fire following a short circuit on Monday.
As per report, the incident took place at Pangwal village in Samba when the victim’s family members were outside and the girl was sleeping inside the house, after which a short circuit occurred resulting in a fire that spread quickly and burned stored food grains, cash as well as three other rooms and some goods.

After the mishap, the locals called the fire tenders and the girl was rescued and the blaze was brought under control.

The victim has suffered serious burn injuries due to which she was rushed to District Hospital Samba. but later was referred to GMC Jammu after for further treatment.
The police has registered a case in this regard and a probe has been started to know the cause of fire.
The victim is identified as Anu Devi “17-18” d/o Mohanlal r/o Pangwal village of Samba.
