Father-Son injured in incident in Jammu, locals angry

Jammu: In a tragic road incident, a father-son duo who were on a bike suffered wounds after a tree fell on them on the road in Jammu on Sunday afternoon.

As per report, the incident took place when both the victims were going on a bike cause the son had a exam when the tree suddenly fell on their vehicle, which was being uprooted by a JCB there.

After the incident, the locals came to their aid who helped both the father-son duo and expressed their resentment over the mishap.

“They continuously used the crane we told them to cut the tree from other side, but they uprooted it from below. They were coming and it fell on them”, An eye-witness said sitting with the victim father.

“It is wrong they should not have done that what if the tree would have fell on a bus”, an angry local man said.

“His legs have broken and his kid has suffered injury he had exam. They have taken him to the exam centre, but how he will give his paper now”, another local man said.

“I was here to take the matador but it went ahead else I would have come under the tree. The tree collapsed on both father-son, his kid is hurt”, An eye-witness woman said.

“Several times we have called on emergency ambulance phone number but it has not arrived here yet, this is Jammu’s ambulance condition”, a youth said.

“No one told us anything neither they have permission here to cut this tree, they haven’t apprised us that they’re cutting the tree else we would have halted traffic movement here”, a Jammu traffic police official said, who was present at the spot of incident.
