J-K: Woman Arrested for Stabbing Fiancé

In a freak incident, a woman had been arrested after she allegedly stabbed her fiancé in Srinagar in broad day light yesterday.
According to report, the incident happened when the accused’s fiancé opposed her desire to continue work after marriage, on which a argument started between the two and the woman stabbed her fiancé with a knife.

The accused woman namely Asifa Bashir who claims to be a journalist and has won National wide woman excellence award recently, has stabbed her fiancé namely Adil Ahmed Kaloo of Bemina in Srinagar.

She had been arrested at Safa Kadal police station and an FIR No. 57/2023 has been filed against her at the mentioned police station.
While her fiancé has been said that he is stable now.
