                 Major fire breaks out in shop in Jammu
Jammu: A major fire broke out in a shop on Monday situated on Jammu-Pathankot National highway in Kathua, this morning.
According to report, a massive blaze broke out in Master Tent material manufacturers shop situated near Kalibari chowk in Kathua on Jammu-Pathankot National highway, reducing property worth lakhs of rupees to ashes, while no loss of human life reported.

Soon, after the fire mishap the fire tenders rushed to the spot and began a fire-fighting exercise to control the inferno reportedly the fire was too major that huge plumes of dark smoke were seen rising from it.
“We don’t the cause of inferno as it is still razing, around 10-10:15am the shop caught fire and it is still burning things”, The shopkeeper said.
“The boys might have not noticed the blaze, I don’t know the loss that I have suffered as the fire-fighting operation is still going on”, he added.
“It’s Master tent manufacture tent’s shop and it use to manufacture tents from here, they have huge amount of goods inside it”, a local man said.
“They use to supply the goods in the district as well as to Jammu, it’s difficult to know the cause of inferno, but they have suffered a huge loss worth crores/lakhs”, he added.
“With the help of locals the goods are being taken out from the shop, the fire tenders vehicles instantly reached here”, he remarked.
“But the fire is so fierce that the fire-fighters are still struggling to control it”, he said.
