Two hurt after bus catches fire in Jammu

Jammu: In a shocking incident,  two persons sustained severe burn injuries after a parked bus caught fire in Ransoo area of Reasi district  on Wednesday.

As per sources, The fire broke out when a stove kept inside a Moonlight bus (JK208932) parked in Reasi Bus stand exploded on which the driver and the bus conductor were preparing food.

The Bus came from Katra full of devotees to Shiv Kohri and it caught fire when the passengers went to pay obeisance in the shrine.

Soon the fire turned into a major blaze which suddenly engulfed the whole vehicle in its ambit left the victims gravely hurt.

After the incident the injured were referred to District Hospital Reasi and after receiving first aid they were referred to GMC, Bakshi Nagar in Jammu for treatment.

The locals rushed the injured to the hospital and also initiated a fire extinguish operation to douse and control the blaze, but they failed to contain the fire as no major water source was available.
