Arrested terrorist being treated at hospital in Jammu

Jammu: An arrested Pakistani terrorist, who was captured during an infiltration attempt on 9th April and sustained wounds, when Indian army opened fire at him in Line of Control (LoC) situated in Shahpur sector of Poonch is reportedly receiving treatment in Government Medical College of Jammu’s Rajouri district.
Identified as Tariq Kohli s/o Yousuf Kohli resident of Chanjal village of Pakistan occupied Kashmir , the terrorist tried to infiltrate the LoC in Shahpur sector of Poonch district 3 three days ago. He was hurt in the Army’s firing.

Giving details to the media about the wounded terrorist, Medical Superintendent of GMC Rajouri, Dr. Mehmood Bajar, said, “A youth which was brought here by police was referred from Poonch hospital”.

“Reportedly he was captured from LoC in Poonch when he was crossing the border to our side”, he said.
“Both his legs are fractured and we’re giving best treatment possible. Our dept head is supervising his treatment with his team”, he added.
“His blood group is negative and has only 6 points of hemoglobin due to which our anesthesia dept has declared him unfit for the leg surgery”, he remarked.
“We will conduct his surgery when he will be fit for it hopefully we will make sure he leaves our hospital healthy”, he claimed.
“He has not sustained any life-threatening injuries. We have contacted our Blood bank sector and if we didn’t find his blood group there then we will call our voluntary blood donors for the arrangement”, he further said.
“His treatment is being supervised by our hospital’s Orthopedic Dept head Irfan Malik with junior doctors and para-medical staff”, he said.
On 9th of April, The Indian army killed an intruder and captured two others when they foiled an infiltration bid on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday along Line of Control in Poonch.
