           Father kills son, injured wife & daughter in Jammu

Jammu: A hair raising incident has come to light from Samba’s Sumba area, in which a man allegedly attacked his family killing his son and critically injured his wife and daughter on Wednesday’s morning.
As per sources, The accused namely Kulbir Singh, 44, s/o Jaswant Singh r/o Taki Sumb of Samba this morning assaulted his family with a sickel hacking his son to death, while gravely wounded his wife and daughter when they were sleeping.

After the attack, The villagers after hearing hue and cry from the perpetrators house reached there and rushed the accused’s wife Poonam Devi (40) and daughter Saloni (16-17) to District Hospital Samba where they are being treated.
The deceased has been identified as Nitin Singh (21-22) s/o Kulbir Singh r/o Sumb of Samba.
Soon, after the incident the SSP Samba and SHO also reached the crime scene and they have nabbed the accused.
The victim’s body has been shifted to District Hospital Samba for autopsy and will be handed over to his family for cremation after completion of medical-legal formalities.
The police has registered a case into this matter and has initiated a probe.
