 Cop dies in Road accident in Jammu

Jammu: In a tragic incident, a cop died in a road mishap yesterday night in Nonath of Ghagwal area of Samba.
According to report, the mishap took place when a Dumper in the middle of the road overturned under which a bike (JK08F6159) being driven by a Selection Grade Constable came under it and along with a car, following which it left the cop critically injured and another man.
Soon, after the accident the police rushed the police man to District Hospital Ghagwal, where doctors after giving him first aid referred him to GMC Jammu.

However, The deceased succumbed to his gashes on the way in Vijaypur when he was being taken to GMC Jammu for treatment.
The deceased has been identified as Ram Prashad s/o Tilak Raj of Satoora in Hiranagar area of Kathua.
The deceased’s body was shifted to Accidental Hospital Vijaypur and after medico-legal formalities will be handed over to his family for the final rites.
