      This railway track has become death-trap for locals in Jammu
Jammu: The railway track at Bari Brahmana in Jammu reportedly has become a death trap for the local residents which has claimed several lives so far.
As per report, so many people have died while crossing the Bari Brahmana railway track recently.

There is a factory across the railway track where thousand of workers go everyday for work on foot crossing the track and many a times, they got hit by the coming train, the report said.

The crossing has become a nightmare for the locals, who lives in its vicinity, the report added.
The absence of deployment of railway police and ignorance of the people who cross the Bari Brahmana railway track has made it a death trap, the report remarked.
The Railway and the local police should take cognizance of this issue and warn people to not cross this railway track on foot and use the footover bridges instead but figures show people ignore the warnings.
