Four members of a family, including a man aged 34, his wife aged 32, their four-year-old daughter and the man’s mother, were found dead at their residence.
The police said the deceased were identified as V Prathap, 34, an engineer with an automobile manufacturer in Chennai, his wife Sindhura, 32, a bank manager in Hyderabad, their four-year-old daughter Aadya, and Prathap’s mother Rajati.

During the investigation, police found that the couple used to fight over relocation to Chennai and the woman’s colleagues said she had been depressed over differences in marriage.
