Mother asks for help for Cancer-stricken daughter in Jammu
Jammu: Sofia who is mother of Shehnaz Akhter has appealed to the general public in Jammu to help her cancer-stricken daughter (Shehnaz) as being financially poor they can’t bear the expenses of their daughter’s diagnosis.
Talking to media, Sofia mother of Shehnaz said,” My daughter is suffering from cancer from past two years. We are very poor and don’t have money to treat our daughter”.

“Her father use to beg door-to-door for the money and after arranging it then we take her to hospital for treatment. But this is not enough that’s we appeal local people to help us”, she added.

She further said that the local people of their locality has helped them and even a doctor namely Sanjeev Digra has helped them also.
“Shehnaz is studying in fourth standard”, she said.
