Mumbai opener Prithvi Shaw registered his career-best score in first-class cricket and then some by completing a triple century in the Ranji Trophy match against Assam on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old scored 379 runs off 383 deliveries against Assam in their Ranji Trophy match at Amingaon Cricket Ground in Guwahati to set the record.

The previous record was held by Gujarat’s Samit Gohel, who slammed 359*(723) against Odisha in Ranji Trophy quarter-finals in 2016.
