Jammu,November 12,2022: After a gap of 8 years another Dogri film “Aaun aan Shinda” (I am Shinda) is being screened at local theatres in Jammu, especially at Jammu’s oldest cinema KC theatre near Bus stand, Jammu. Earlier it was ‘Geetiya'(Pebbles) the first action Dogri film based on ‘gangwars’ in late 1980s in Jammu appeared on big screen in 2014 which received high praise from the Jammuites.

Interacting with the media Mr Ashish Kohli Journalist Jk media, who also acted in the film said that after ‘Geetiya’ this is another full length feature film in Dogri language, which is running in our local cinema houses. He further said that the local people should come and watch this movie at local theatres in Jammu.

“We came here today in Dogri attire to watch and promote this film. We also request  locals to come forward & watch this movie wearing dogri turbans so that our rich culture could be dissiminated. “Kaayar” (Coward) is my another film which is coming soon and it is the sequel of my earlier film ‘Saraab’ which talks about religious radicalism  and how it takes the form of terrorism killing innocents”, he said.

Mr Shilakha Sharma script writer of the film said that after years a film in Dogri has appeared on big screens in Jammu. Adding he said that “everyone has put their best efforts to make this film and on first day of the screening we came here to enjoy this film”.
