Jammu, October 9, 2022: Today, on receiving information from a reliable source the Arnia police nabbed an unidentified rider who was riding his motorcycle in a very rash and negligent manner and who was accused of hitting a pedestrian near Trewa Morh, Arnia,Jammu.
As per the report, the said unknown motorcyclist hit a pedestrian namely Ram Payri (45) w/o Baldev Raj resident of Arnia which resulted in injuring her seriously and after which she was immediately shifted to GMC jammu by the help of locals, but later on third of this month she succumbed to her injuries in GMC, Jammu.
It has been said that after hitting the victim on Sept 27th, the accused fled from the scene of inicdent.
On this information a case FIR was registered at PS Arnia and investigation was taken up by the police and acting sharply a team was constituted headed by SHO Arnia Sumeet Sharma assisted by Sub inspector Mohd Ilyas under the supervision of SP Ramnish Gupta, and SDPO R.S Pura Surinder Singh who analysed the CCTVs installed in the area and after thorough analysis of different suspected person and after hectic efforts, today they traced out the motorcycle bearing registration no.JK02CA-1052 involved in the accident.
After identifying the vehicle and its owner namely Rahul Kumar s/o Yog Raj r/o Karyal, Arnia. The bike has been seized and the accused person has been arrested.
