An organization “Change Makers” has been set up to provide special facilities to the disabled and handicapped people in Jammu division’s Kathua district on Sunday. The organization has been helping such people from the past nine years in different districts of Jammu and Kashmir and now it will be operating in the Kathua District too.

Ranjeet Singh Pathania founder of the organization while appealing to the local government said that the district administration must give special treatment to the specially-abled people and employ them in all sectors without any discrimination because it is their fundamental right.

He further added that these people have the right of being prevented and being detected of any disability at the earliest which is an undeniable fundamental right for them and his organization ‘Change Makers’ will actively work in Basohli, Hiranagar, Bani, and Billawar tehsils of Kathua district to redress the issues of these people.

Moreover he informed that his organization would send a memorandum to the District Administration Kathua to keep a separate counter for the disabled people in government offices or open online portals for their grievance redressal mechanism.
