Cyber crime has undoubtedly become a gravest peril of internet with the continuous advancement in the IT sector .
Now the cyber fraudsters are targeting people using social media platforms like Facebook .

Users receive friend request from fake accounts and then they involve them ( users) in chatting with them and gradually people fell prey to the trap laid by these fraudsters where these cyber criminals post morphed and obscene videos of people over the internet . And moreover they demand a heavy amount from people in order to keep these videos private and threaten them that they would viral it among their families if users refuses to accede to their demands. In this way they start blackmailing the users.
On per day basis a total of ten such complaints are filed in the Cyber police cell of Jammu .
