The meeting was also graced by President Chamber of Commerce and Industries Arun Gupta, President Fruit Association F&V Market Narwal, and other Association members along with Joint Director Digvijay Gupta, Deputy Director Central Manzoor Ahmed, Deputy Director Jammu Ayaz Ahmad Natnoo, AMO Jammu Sourabh Sarangal, Deputy Director Planning Ranjeet Sunwal and other officials of the Department of Horticulture Planning & Marketing.
The meeting witnessed a discussion of various issues regarding F&V Market Narwal like an extension of lease deed, development works as well the upcoming Fruit Season.
The Director assuring resolution of issues gave on spot directions to start working on the same including the commencement of development works. He informed that the proposal of extension of the lease deed has been submitted to the Govt. and is under active consideration.
The Director also stressed that in the changing times the business dynamics have changed and traders should explore options and invest in potential areas of Jammu Division so that farmers of the region prosper and new trade opportunities open up in these areas boosting the overall Agriculture /Horticulture economy of J&K.
The meeting was concluded by Mr. Atul Sethi who thanked Director Horticulture Planning & Marketing for his visionary proactive and collaborative approach as well as President Chamber of Commerce and Industries Arun Gupta for his unwavering support to the trading community.
