Taking swift action to avoid any untoward incident, the police warned people against taking the law into their own hands and asked them to maintain peace. A case was registered case over the alleged inflammatory speeches.
In order to ensure that peace prevails in the area, more security personnel were deployed in the area to prevent any incident of violence and arson.
“Curfew has been imposed as a precautionary measure in view of communal tension,” an official said.
