Employees who are working under Rehbar-e-Khel scheme of the government staged a protest in Jammu’s Trikuta Nagar outside BJP ‘s office against the Jammu and Kashmir government’s decision to re-advertise the posts they were employed in.

REK physical education teachers were serving the department on a meagre salary for so long with an assurance of regularisation within few months but the recent order by the government has ruined . their hopes. All the teachers are highly qualified but today are left with no other alternative than to suffer and bat for their issues.
Protestors raised slogans holding the placards of “Don’t spoil the life of REK teachers” , “Freeze posts of REK “.
The posts have been referred to the service selection board for recruitment . Many of these youth have crossed their upper age limit they have a family to feed also they have given five years of their life serving at a low salary but never demanded an increment . They said that the government is consistently turning a blind eye to their grave concerns as no one from the administration has approached them till now .
