A 14-year-old girl named Gurpreet Kour, from Digiana , Jammu died due to accidental drug intake .

The culprit behind her death is a girl who visited Gurpreet ‘s home and cooked maggi for her. No one had an idea that it was a drug laced maggi. Afterwards , Gurpreet along with her cousin ( who also ate the Maggi) developed health complications and were taken to the hospital where Gurpreet lost her life and her cousin is still not completely fine.
The family of the deceased helped the police in nabbing the culprit. A drug racket from Delhi is active in Jammu for quite some time . It is the members of the same gang who were involved in this incident.
Increasing drug cases in the region have become a menace for the residents.
