A suspected explosive material was found planted near a busy road in the Sidhra area of Jammu on Thursday.
An official told a news agency that the suspected explosive material, an IED or a sticky bomb, was found planted alongside the road in the Sidhra area. An alert was issued, and traffic was stopped.
An official said that the entire area has now been cordoned, and the bomb squad has been called in.
Meanwhile, SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli said they are examining the matter, and the investigation is ongoing.
