Government Hospital Sarwal Jammu has been ranked as the best-performing government hospital empanelled under the flagship government scheme AB-PMJAY.
In his office chamber today, Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Anshul Garg, handed over the award to the Medical Superintendent of Government Hospital Sarwal, Dr Harbaksh Singh.
The National Health Authority made the selection of the hospital.
Pertinently, Government Hospital Sarwal Jammu has added many new facilities for patient care such as digital x-ray, emergency room, oxygen generation plant, and a full-fledged effluent treatment plant to avoid water pollution.
Government Hospital Sarwal has been the only designated Non-Covid hospital for the last two years, catering to the needs of the patients during the difficult COVID times. Nearly 2.50 lakh patients were provided services during the last two years.
Speaking on occasion, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the Administration, Doctors, nurses, para-medical, and other hospital staff members for their outstanding performance and dedication to the human services.
