Three people were injured when a Tata Sumo fell into a 300 feet deep gorge in Ramban district. The injured have been admitted to hospital. Police have registered a case and started an investigation and action.

According to the information, Tata Sumo number JK03C-0782 was going from Mhow to Khadi. According to the police, the driver was driving the vehicle at high speed and reckless, due to which the vehicle fell out of the driver’s control around 4.15 pm on Tuesday and fell about 300 feet from the road in the Mhow area.
Local people reached the spot immediately after the accident. They informed the police and got involved in relief and rescue operations. Within no time, the police also reached the spot and started the rescue operation. All the people injured in the accident were taken out of the ditch and admitted to Mhow PHC, where after giving them first aid, all were referred to Ramban District Hospital.
The injured in the accident have been identified as the driver of the vehicle, Mohammad Ashiq Dar, son Abdul Rehman, Mohammad Ashiq Naik son Abdul Rehman and Tauspi Ahmed son Hameed Dar. All are residents.
