Prime Minister Narendra Modi, coming to Samba’s Palli village on April 24 on National Panchayati Raj Day, will give many gifts to Jammu and Kashmir. He will also inaugurate the Banihal-Qazigund tunnel and lay the foundation stone of five expressways.

After the abrogation of Article 370, a groundbreaking ceremony of Rs 38082 crore will also take place in the new era of industrial development in the new Jammu and Kashmir. Eminent industrialists from the country and abroad will participate in this. Award money will also be distributed to all the panchayats of the country with a single click.
Lt Governor Manoj Sinha informed that the Prime Minister would also lay the foundation stone of 850 MW Ratley and 540 MW Kwar Hydro Project to double the power generation in the state in the next four years. He informed that about one lakh people are likely to participate in the programme. The Prime Minister will visit the Palli Panchayat Ghar and interact with the Sarpanch and Panch. Will also visit INTACH Photo Gallery and Nokia Center. Apart from this, he will also visit the exhibition of different departments. There will also be a meeting with the business delegation coming from Dubai. Told that four lakh direct and indirect employment opportunities will be created in the state due to industrial development.
He said that the parish would be the first carbon-neutral panchayat in the country, where the entire village would be illuminated with solar energy. All government records will be digitized here, and every eligible village will benefit from all government schemes. It will be a model panchayat that will encourage J&K and other panchayats of the country to become carbon-free. From here, the Prime Minister will address the public representatives of Panchayati Raj institutions across the country.
