GMC Hospital Jammu, infamous for its negligent conduct with its patients, has again come under fire.
The hospital staff is alleged to deny treatment to a man just because he has a dark complexion. The patient had come to the hospital from Nagrota to receive the treatment. According to the media reports, the man is diagnosed with heart disease.
The family( man’s ) made strong allegations against the hospital administration. For example, his wife said, ” one female staff member savagely removed my husband’s glucose drip and threatened us to walk out, when I started to record this on my mobile phone as evidence, a scuffle broke out between us and security guards “. She said that since then, they have been standing outside the hospital building but till now, no one has approached them to take stock of their situation.
There is a growing sense of apathy among the citizens on the part of GMC Jammu’s inattentive and careless conduct.
