Jammu: An Assistant Sub Inspector, ASI, of Jammu and Kashmir Police today committed suicide by hanging herself with the ceiling fan, here in Satwari area, today.
Kullbir Kour (52), ASI J&K Police, presently posted at District Police Line, Jammu, wife of Harpal Singh of Lower Gadi Garh, Satwari, Jammu attempted suicide by hanging herself with ceiling fan.
Family informed police and accordingly a police team from Police Post Gadigarh reached at her residence and rushed her to GMC Jammu where she was declared dead.
Police have registered a case in this connection and started an investigation.
