With Freezing Temperature Kashmir People Suffer With Worst Water Crisis In 3 Decades

Once again Kashmir has made it to headlines after the temperature on Saturday saw a drastic fall to -8.8 degree Celsius which has broken all the previous records in the last 30 years. Severe winter problems have arisen for people living in Kashmir but they are worst affected by the water crisis in 3 decades. With chilling temperature, all the water bodies including lakes, supply lines, taps, and tanks have been frozen. All the traditional de-freezing techniques used by people have failed this year.
The weather has again changed in Kashmir. Although some regions received snowfall at night and in the morning, a sigh of relief is seen today as the temperature has again risen a little in the valley. The MeT department has predicted that Kashmir may receive a little snowfall till the 3rd of February.
