We Demand SSP Samba Should Fairly Investigate The Case: Family Members of Pallavi Gupta

An incident that took place in the Samba area of Jammu where a married lady named Pallavi Sharma was found dead under mysterious conditions and the maternal family members of Pallavi has accused that her husband Abhishek Badiyal and her in-laws have killed her. Today the family members protested near the office of SSP Samba to demand justice for their daughter.

While talking to the media Pallavi’s father said “we demand that a fair investigation should take place so that justice should be delivered to my late daughter. Today we have reached the SSP office and soon we will meet the SSP Samba Rajeev Sharma”.

An activist Robin Sharma said ” the investigation is getting delayed because the police are waiting for the postmortem report. Once the police get the postmortem report then the investigation will catch speed. We are accusing Abhishek and his family because we have messages in which Pallavi said that her husband and his family are harassing me for the past many months and I want a divorce from him. We are confident that Pallavi was killed and she didn’t attempt any suicide”. He further added that “we also want those people who are trying to turn this murder into suicide should also be punished”.

After the meeting, Pallavi’s father said “Rajeev Sharma is an honest police officer and he has assured us that soon the murderers will be behind the bars”.

A case of cruelty, harassment, and dowry have been registered under IPC act 304B.
