Srinagar, Dec 25: An unidentified man was found lying unconscious on the roadside near LD Hospital in Srinagar on Thursday morning and was later declared dead at the hospital, officials said.
According to officials, a police team shifted the man, believed to be around 45 years old, to SMHS Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Initial reports suggest that the man was found lying on the roadside near LD Hospital. His identity has not been established so far, and the cause of death remains unknown.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further investigation.
