Two Soldiers Succumb to Injuries as Terrorist Attack in Srinagar outskirts

Two jawans were on Thursday martyred in a terrorist attack on security forces in Srinagar outskirts on Thursday.

Official sources said that terrorists fired at a Quick Reaction Team (QRT) of security forces at Khushipora, Parimpora in the city outskirt on Thursday afternoon. “Two jawans were injured in the attack,” they said, adding that the wounded were rushed to a hospital where they succumbed.

They said the terrorists managed to escape from the spot during the chaos created due to the firing, adding additional security forces were rushed to the area and a search operation has been launched to track down the attackers.
